I bought two of these. They each broke within days. At $0.71 maybe you can justify buying a bunch of them instead of 1 good one. I would suggest an adapter that includes a port for a charging cable. 2 stars for being so inexpensive.Customer Review: Works good, not bulky

This is a very inexpensive and effective adapter to help people listen to audiobooks or music on their HTC-made cell-phones. My Verizon XV6800 works very well with it. I previously had one with a 90 degree right angle turn from the wire to the mini-USB end, and that one seemed to get yanked or somehow got a short in it and stopped working. I think it's possible that this design is better to prevent the cord losing its connection & getting weakened, leading to inconsistent functioning. I'd recommend it. This is NOT any kind of HTC OEM product, nor is it a "stereo" adapter. It's a "GT Max" accessory, and it only produces one signal of sound (only audible through one side of completely operational headphones). Save yourself the trouble with this and just get the HTC OEM 3.5mm 2.5mm Headset Adapter Converter... if you're going to need a dongle anyway to use headphones, why not go ahead and have the capability to charge the phone at the same time???

This adapter does not work for the IPAQ 910 by HP. It simply will not fit in the slot. It has a different shape. Be careful when you order, that the ad specificaly names your device.
