I have a terrible habit of losing gloves, but hope to have these for a long time! I had a previous Fownes pair that I adored, but when I had to replace them, I had a hard time finding just the right pair at the right price. Leather with cashmere lining is fine most of the time, but we've had a cold winter and I needed more. These gloves were a great replacement. For the reviews saying they were stiff - most leather is stiff initially, including calfskin, you just have to wear them a few times - and for those who don't like the shedding ... this would occur whether it was real or faux. I have fur trim on a coat that sheds a little, and for these to shed is not a problem. A clothes brush or a little tape, sticky-side out, is all you need. I don't have complaints on either of these grounds, and in fact don't have complaints at all! I paid less for these than I would for them in most retail situations, they're exactly as advertised and shown, the quality is the same as what I remember, and they were mailed amazingly fast! My five stars here are no exaggeration. I hope I don't lose them, but if I do, I'll come right back and get another great pair!
