Apparel reviews of ADAPTER PLUG TS-237APCustomer Review: Works well, but bulky Rating: 3 Stars
I used this on my trip to Italy and Spain. It worked well in most places. At one hotel, the plug was so loose, that the weight of the plug kept unpluging it from the wall, and I had to push it up against the socket with a piece of furniture to keep it plugged in. Otherwise, it worked well, though it is rather bulky to carry around.
Customer Review: does not convert voltage Rating: 1 Stars
This adapter only allows you to change the actual plug so you can plug it in abroad. It does not change the voltage. We traveled to Denmark and I fried my curling iron when I used this adaptor. The average voltage that comes through in Europe is much higher than what is used in the U.S. You must do extra homework before using this product abroad.
Customer Review: Beware Rating: 1 Stars
Adapter plug popped, buzzed, and shorted out in Australia (220-240v)and ruined the power brick on my netbook, which like all others I've ever seen is (or rather, was) rated for an input of 100-240v.
