I bought this wig for my husband, who wants to be dressed like Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top for Halloween, as he is playing a gig in a tavern (he plays base in a rock band). There is a LOT of hair available for use in a ZZ top beard, although the beard itself is not very thick. We have been practicing applying the beard with spirit gum and it is difficult to affix it securely. Double sided tape is provided but it won't work very well for us as my husband has a beard. My friend is a makeup artist and she says that spirit gum is the best bet.
The wig with the top knot is very clever and amusing. If you didn't want the beard and eyebrows to last an entire evening, maybe for an hour or two it would be an effective costume. The hair is very realistic.
