These earmuffs aren't cheap. But, I liked them so well that I ordered a second pair lest they disappear from the market (like so many old style products)and can't be replaced. They are well built with an adjustable stainless steel over-band and all METAL connections...no plastic here. Well insulated muffs and the mink is a pleasure to wear.

The band and the rivets that hold the muff to the band are a little tight when new but loosens up nicely with wear. Be careful when you collapse the muffs for storage because the rivets that hold the muffs to the band are tight when new. Excessive force will bend the metal connector ring that holds the band to the muff (you can easily bend it back into shape; try that with plastic, you'd be done for). These ear muffs should last for many years (unlike the usual junk that is lucky to last a season). A highly recommended product that comes with fast shipping (both times!) as well.
