Customer Review: Quality and Attention to Detail a Bit Lacking - Update Added

Ordered the Rex Chinchilla Ear Muffs and this scarf as a X-mas gift. The Ear Muffs are perfect but this scarf leaves a bit to be desired. The corners of the scarf are void or fur due to how it is sewn. There is a full 90 degree gap on all of the corners missing fur instead of there being a transition from the side to the bottom of the scarf. It looks like a bite was taken from the scarf.
There is metal clip on the inside of the scarf to hold the scarf tight around the neck. The hole on the inside lining where the clip is inserted is razor cut, jagged and frayed. This hole will fray quickly and will not hold the clip in place for very long. The hole should have had the edges sewn like a button hole to prevent this. The metal clip use has protective cloth sheathing on the outside portion of the clip to prevent damage. But the metal clip on the inside of the scarf has no protection. The metal is bent up in a U facing the lining and will perforate the lining in short order. This inside part should have some kind of protective material to prevent the sharp metal of the clip from coming into direct contact with the very thin inside lining.
As advertised the fur is softer than standard rabbit and very nice. I will be contacting the seller for a replacement and will update this review based on that experience but wanted to get this review out on the morning we opened it.

I had to pay to send back the first scarf and they sent me the following reply when I inquired about the shipment of the replacement scarf:
When you receive the gloves, you will also get the replacement scarf as promised. They are in the same package.
However, we, as furriers operating in a small scale like all furriers in USA, may not be able to achieve you high 'technical' requirements.
The replacement scarf was better but I wouldn't say MUCH better. I dont think I had high "Technical" requirements just thought the corners shouldn't look like something took a bite out of them when worn. In the end my Wife loves the Gloves, Ear Muffs and replacement Scarf. So it is all Good. I am updating the rating to 3.
