Due to reading reviews of other umbrella designs in the series, I thought I should add a review for this one. This is a great sturdy umbrella with a nice design for people who like roses. The ribs are black and very sturdy (it is fiberglass) and the button both fully expands the umbrella AND collapses it, although you must push it back together to shorten it back up. The most important thing I think I should talk about is the fact that others have taken stars off the ratings of Galleria umbrellas because they say they are heavy. I have carried many umbrellas this size that are as heavy or heavier than this and it is perfectly fine. I can not get over the whining and laziness of people that it's too heavy... Just ignore those comments please!
