I recently purchased this case in black. It is a quality item, made with excellent craftsmanship. The eelskin is lovely and seems quite sturdy. It is very smooth and soft to the touch. I really like the addition of the lighter holder, as it prevents me having to dig through the bottom of my purse (especially when I am driving!) looking for a lighter. It fits a Bic lighter and those that are Bic-clones (You know the free one's you get when you buy a carton of cigarettes? Those fit just fine.).
It may cost a bit more than other cases that Amazon offers (those made with leather), but it is definitely worth the few extra dollars. I know, as I have also purchased one of the leather cases from Amazon. The leather case stays at home as a backup. I take this eelskin case in my purse when I go out. It is a beautiful, modern version of the old stand-by cigarette case, one that any woman will be proud to own. It prevents tobacco from making a mess of the bottom of your purse, keeps track of your lighter, and, definitely does not look like you borrowed it from your grandmother! It would also make a great gift.
