These shirts are very attractive,but the fabric wears out quickly.
The collar edge is fragile and wears out fast when touched up
with an iron.
Customer Review: good, but picks up lint and dust from everywhere

The fabric seems ok, but it picks up all the lint from other clothes in the dryer, picks up dirt from the carpet and is hard to keep it dust-free. Worse on a black shirt because the dust/dirt becomes very conspicuous. But then I have not owned sateen shirts before. I would not buy this shirt again, unless I find a way to change this into somewhat dust/dirt-repellent like any regular cotton shirt.

The greyish purple shirt I bought had a rich color, fit beautifully and washed well. After owning it less than a month, however, it looked faded and ragged on the edges. The shirt looks fine with jeans now, but not the slacks and ties it was originally purchased for. I was very disappointed in the colorfastness and material quality, especially from Geoffrey Beene.Customer Review: dress shirt

The shirt was fine until I washed it. It did not respond well. It "pills" after only being worn and washed a few times. Poor durability. Will not buy again.
