Customer Review: plastic weakens in drier

I tried several pairs of reusable water proof underwear I hated how expensive some are but this is what I found. The Gerber is pretty effective against leaks but even with washing it inside out the plastic seems to weaken in the drier. The Kushies is quite a bit more expensive nut it wears real well we have never had a leak and the plastic seems to be a higher grade. This two we wash inside out and it has never seemed to get weaker. both leave the child with a puffier but then a diaper but hey that is okay if we can get potty trained then soon we can use regular underwear. The kushies holds more liquid and therefore works better at night then the Gerber.Customer Review: Wish I had read reviews before purchase

Bought these to get ready to potty train my granddaughter. Prewashed them and dried them as directed. The plastic part of the pants totally melted all over my dryer! They are totally ruined and I hope the dryer isn't!! I will be contacting Gerber for replacement!!Customer Review: DO NOT PUT IN DRYER

I put them in the dryer (actually my husband did) - they melted and were waste, I don't even think they would have held up on the low setting which he did not use.
