Customer Review: Liked the old training pants better

These pants are thin and noisy. The plastic crinkles loudly, almost like a grocery store plastic bag! My little boy will not wear them! When I was raising my older 2 children, these plastic pants were made of a thicker and softer material, probably vinyl.
I suppose safety regulations required the change, but it is awful. When he urinates, it dribbles through the leg openings and lets his pants get wet. I will not buy these again. We are back to pull-ups for now. It was a big mess for me and traumatic for my little boy.

Poor quality. The waterproof vinyl did not do not much to contain mess and it fell apart after a washing. Also, my toddler HATED these pants and it was a struggle just to get her to put them on! In the end, it was easier just going straight to big kid underwear - or no underwear. Inevitably, there will always be a mess, vinyl pants or not, just have the Lysol and Clorox wipes handy! Mind as well just get over it, without additional struggles from a 2 year old!

I bought these because we were starting potty training and wanted something while we were out. She wore cloth training pants while out and had this over it. It was bulky, made a lot of noise and made her really sweaty. I really couldn't tell if she went potty a little or just sweat! It didn't leak at all, but she only went a little bit(which we knew what that was!)
