I bought these in different sizes before my son was born. I had heard that gerber runs a little small so I only bought one package of 0-3. My baby was a little over 8 pounds at birth at the 0-3 was too big on him for at least a week maybe more. Now he is 7 weeks and he fits into the 0-3 and the 3-6. I like these because they are thin and go under his clothing well. I look at these as undershirts and I put then on him even if he wears another thicker onesie on top, like a lot of the newborn outfits which is a onesie and pants. I am buying these in bigger sizes so that he can wear them when he grows out of the ones he is wearing now.
