I took this with me when I went to Ireland. I stayed in a Hilton and maybe because it was an American hotel they already had american oulets as well as those for the UK, but I did use it in the UK outlet and it worked perfectly. I used this product in London and it worked perfectly. This product is just an adaptor and if your electronic equipment doesn't have the correct voltage, you will also need a converter.Customer Review: Great Adapter

This fits two pin US plugs to the UK three prong standard. It seems well made but is pricier than some alternatives. Be warned that if you have any 3-pin US plugs this will NOT work. For me that's not an issue for most of my devices such as camera battery chargers but if you're travelling with a laptop which has a 3-pin US plug look at other products. The posted image is somewhat misleasding in this respect.
