I bought this to use on a recent trip to Israel. While the pin configuration is indeed the correct one for Israel, every single outlet in the hotels I stayed at couldn't accept this adapter because they used a circular recessed fitting that was not compatible with this adapter (this adapter has a large flat surface that exceeded the diameter of the recessed circle). So, in other words I couldnt get it to work at the hotels I stayed (in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa). Someone suggested to me that this adapter fits the "newer" Israeli outlets, but if they exist they were not at any of the modern hotels I stayed at......?
