Guys, this is it, you've found the holy grail in socks. I've been wearing these for about 6 years and they are awesome.
If you need to wear colored socks for your work, these are the best you can find. Imagine pulling on your favorite pair of athletic socks - that's what these feel like; they are plenty thick to absorb moisture and provide excellent comfort when wearing dress shoes, and look excellent. It's almost feels like cheating. I even run in mine (when nobody's looking).
If you are still wearing little thin dress socks that your mommy bought you - you've just found your new man sock. I'm online buying probably my 10th pack, and one for a friend's birthday - that's how good they are. Don't let the "Cotton" description fool you into thinking they are going to lose their shape - they have 17% nylon and 1% spandex so the stretch and maintain their shape for a long time. If you have big feet like mine (size 12) DEFINTELY get the King Size - they don't have to stretch as much and will last longer.
Oh, and the black fuzzies on the first wear? Get over it man.

For years I used to get these socks at my local JC Penny's store, but they stopped carrying them. I stumbled upon them on Amazon, never expecting to buy a my socks at a "book store". I took a chance, not sure that they were the same exact ones I used to get at Penny's, but they were. These socks are bulletproof, and will outlast anything else out there. They are comfortable and their thick sides STAY UP without needing to be so tight as to cut off your circulation. The cotton fabric keeps your feet warm & dry. I got the black color, and they are fine for both everyday use and dress use, which I like. As to the complaints about shedding "fuzzies", it is true they can do that, but you just need to follow the directions on the package and wash/dry them **inside-out**, at least the first few times, then they're fine. I had to clean out the lint screen on the drier half-way through the first time, but after that the lint was fairly normal. I don't work for Gold Toe and don't know anyone in that industry; I just genuinely like this product.Customer Review: Order both the white and black ones

I ordered 6 pack of the white ones and a 6 pack of the black ones. They were delivered to my door step within 2 days. I wear them with leather shoes so they're not the perfect and most convenient ones out there but seriously I have little to complain when I'm paying just three bucks per pair of socks (Including shipping and packaging) They were very well packed. The white ones I like slightly more but if you're barefoot you'd much rather be caught in the black ones cause the shade and design looks slightly better. It gives me so much pleasure in knowing that I won't have to endure with smelly socks and I will have 12 pairs to choose from. Because the fabric isn't cheese and polyster'ish - you can rest assured that these can be worn two times before you need to wash them. If you expect to play tennis in them, think again. I have opened only a pair of the whites and one pair of the blacks but I'm already washing them and I have 5 of each remaining.
These socks are another reason to love amazon. Thankyou for the reviews and product.

I am 52 years old and have have had flat feet for most of those years. It takes a special shoe and socks to make my feet "happy". Well I found the shoes about a year ago and finally found the socks to go with them about a week ago. These Gold Toe socks are the most comfortable socks that I have ever worn and I mean that in the most sincere way. I had never heard of them until I saw them (by chance) on Amazon.com. I took a chance and bought a half-dozen. I was not disappointed. I am so pleased with them that I told my wife that I'm going to buy enough to last the rest of my life. Buy em - you will not be disappointed!!!! I just wish I had found them earlier. Oh - by the way I have a job that I walk at least 2.2 miles a day 5 days a week. I love the GOLD TOE CREW SOCKS. They fit your feet perfectly due to the blend of cotton, nylon, and spandex. They stay up and provide adequate cushion so they're comfortable to wear.
The blend helps the socks keep their shape and they hug your feet like a glove. No more saggy socks or uncomfortable bunches when loose socks become crimped inside your sneakers.
I own both the white and the black, and it's true: the black ones leave little black fuzzy lint on your toes and toe nails. Hopefully washing them inside out will cure that, but it's not that big of a deal. So far I haven't found any black socks (that weren't dress socks) that didn't leave some black lint behind.
Otherwise they're great! Love the GOLD TOE SOCKS!
