I bought 2 3-packs of black socks to test out and now that I have, I am disappointed to find that black is no longer available. Wish Amazon had a "Notify Me When Available" option. I would buy another half-dozen.
Unlike my old cotton crew socks, these socks are soft and comfy. I know it may sound like hyperbole, but my feet feel pampered when I wear these socks. I especially noticed the "warm, fuzzy" feeling when I wore them to bed to keep my feet warm. They did an excellent job. Some people complained of lint, but I have not had much of a problem. Even so, I expect that I will have a bit of black dryer lint when I wash them.
If there is a change in my opinion after washing, I will edit this review.
