Grantwood Technology presents the tuneband armband for the 1st/2nd Generation iPod Nano?, which is the OLDEST NANO MODELS. These models were released in 2/2006 and 9/2006, in 1GB/2GB/4GB/8GB models. This is NOT the skin for the latest iPod nano, which is the 5th generation. We do sell skins for the older models you can search Amazon for Grantwood tuneband for those.The silicone skin is secure, thick and protective and allows access to all the ports on the iPod Nano?. The tuneband has a comfortable stretchy Velcro? band that fits both large and small arms. Also, the tuneband comes with a low tack peel screen protector.
Finally, the tuneband is compatible with the Nike+iPod system, allowing you to attach the Nike+iPod receiver to the iPod.

For the price, this case is reliable. It doesn't slide around on my arm when I run, jump, climb, or even go upside down. The only time I find myself adjusting the position of my iPod within the case is if I've been pulling on it (I keep in on the backside or my arm). It's not flashy, which I like, nor is it bulky. The only downside is that in the long run I can see it needing replacement - the silicone can't last forever (figuratively speaking) and so if you want to have it for a long, long time, you might want to go with something made out of leather.Customer Review: Sturdy and highly adjustable

This armband is great because it is sturdy and stays put when I'm running. I love that the entire length of the band has the fuzzy side of the velcro (the end has a little bit of the rough part of the velcro) so that it can be made very big or very small... I have found a lot of other armbands to be too big for my skinny girl arms.
The so-called screen protector is absolutely pathetic. It's essentially just a clear piece of contact paper, only it's thinner. I suppose it may prevent scratching, but I don't see how you could ever remove it and the potential exists for it to go on crooked or with bubbles, which would be really annoying.

I've had several different cases for my iPod but this one is, by far, my most favored. The ports are easy to access, the iPod doesn't shift in the case and the arm band has a good amount of Velcro on it so it won't loosen up during a run. It also came with a pretty cool protective skin that can be affixed to the iPod to protect the screen and dial. I am more than satisfied with this product!! I ran a half marathon with it in Columbus,OH three weeks ago and it was great. The Tuneband is an elastic velcro strap that holds the silcone case (also by Grantwood Technology). What makes this a great product is that its lightweight, easy to adjust, and doesn't grab your skin or cut off your circulation like other heavier bands. Its also very easy to clean...mild soap and water does it. Very durable and highly recommend it to all you Nike+Ipod users. The silicone case for the nano is waterproof and lightweight, allowing easy access to the wheel so you can get spot readings while your on the run. Finally, the Tuneband and silicone case also compliments GT's shoe pouch for the Ipod receiver chip (NO need to buy the Nike shoes!). The waterproof neoprene case fits on your laces and stays snuggly in place. Highly recommend to anyone who runs every run with their Nike+Ipod set-up like I do! ~Michael
