Customer Review: Simple design wins the day

I needed an armband for running with my iPhone 3GS and I chose the Tuneband because it has some buffers between my sweaty arm and the device itself. I've had armbands for iPods into which the device fit very snugly, but the fabric of the holder was acting as a conduit for moisture. With the Tuneband, there's basically a layer of soft silicone and velcro between my arm and the phone.
I've read complaints that this Tuneband flops around but I haven't had this problem. It's been with me on 10-mile runs and (more often) 5-mile runs, and any flopping that occurs is not distracting to me, nor is it a cause for concern the well-being of my iPhone.
I do not use the case as my everyday case because I do not want to thread the velcro strap through the slots in the silicone case every time I go for a run. While I'm sure the process isn't all *that* taxing, it's easier for me to pop the phone out of my everyday case and into the Tuneband.
Also, I did not have an adhesive screen protector on my iPhone and the one that comes with the Tuneband is excellent: it fits well and I can't even tell it's covering my screen.

Just started using this product beacuse originally when i got it out of the box, i thought that it would be uncomfortable and too bulky to run around with. Two weeks ago, i finally strapped this on and gave it a whirl before i would of gave it to a friend. after the first few blocks and adjusting to my arm, it just disappears and i don't notice it anymore. The band is comfortable and fully adjustable to arms of any size, and the iphone cant move an inch! Its a little tricky to get the phone inside the smooth rubber holster, but i guess thats a good thing so its not easy to "pop" out if your on a jog. Screen protector works like a charm, i put that on first when i got it. After some rough use, it started to come up a bit on an edge, so i pulled it off, washed it down with some acetone, let it dry a little, and put it back on and it looks like new again! Packaging came with all sorts of promo stuff and a "Thanks" from this made in USA company giving it a real personal touch!
Long story short...i kept my armband, and my friend bought one of his own from these guys.

I decided to purchase this armband due to the responsiveness of the company in regards to the negative reviews given by customers. Those responses + the highest rating of iPhone armbands caused me to purchase this. I can't say that I'm disappointed. The company was very responsive immediately upon purchase. I had emails within a couple of hours confirming my order. I then received another email the next day confirming the shipment. They appear to be a great company.
As for the product, it comes with a screen protector (which I didn't need since I already had one), the "case" and the armband. I gave it a test workout by going on a run and it stayed firmly planted to my arm. I was most worried about it flopping around on my arm due to the size of the iPhone, but I was pleasantly surprised it did not do this. The real test will be this summer, though, when I'm running 8+ miles a day in midwest heat. If it can keep my phone sweat free, I'll be even more pleased.
I would recommend this product.

I read all the reviews when I was trying to decide which product to purchase to hold my iphone while I was exercising. This product is great. It holds the iphone securely and while I have yet to answer the Iphone while exercising (I turn it off) I am sure it would work well for that. One other reviewer mentioned that the armband stretches while your arm moves or as the bicep/tricep mucscles contract and release, which influenced my decision to purcahse this product. I have a large diameter bicep/tricep (fat not muscle) so the arm band works well for larger size arms. I also purchased the E-forcity products...the regular one and the one for larger arms...neither came close to this product. I do not use the screen protector that came with this unit. It doesn't work well. Besides I had purchsed an Elago Iphone skin fit protector plus the crystal clear film to protect my screen so the screen protector that came with this unit is superfluous.Customer Review: Much welcome improvement over the last model

I had the opportunity to test their new model and I must say they fixed the little that, I thought, was a problem. No more bouncing around when running, the phone sticks to the arm without it being uncomfortable. The design of the silicone piece changed also a little, which did not seem to make a difference to me.
All in all, they kept what was working and improved on what needed improvement!
At that price, it's a no-brainer.

Nothing fancy here. It does the job well. The phone comes in and out incredibly easily and, at the same time, holds it into place quite well.
I was a little disappointed when I took it on my first jog to realize that it bounced around a little but no big deal.
