The silicone skin is secure, thick and protective and allows access to all the ports on the iPod NanoŽ. The tuneband has a comfortable stretchy VelcroŽ band that fits both large and small arms. Also, the tuneband comes with a low tack peel screen protector. Finally, the tuneband is compatible with the Nike+iPod system, allowing you to attach the Nike+iPod receiver to the iPod.

The silicone skin is soft and offers plenty of protection and now comes in all kinds of great colors. The screen protector is really easy to put on and does not hinder the click wheel at all. The band is great. It is not permanently attached to the siliskin (silicon skin cover) so you can just pull the band off and your ipod is still protected. The band is soft, comfortable, lightweight and adjustable. It stays in place while your are working, working out and/or running. Your are really getting a great deal. Plus, check out the shoe pouch for those of you that don't want to spend 100+ dollars on new nike+ shoes. All of these products I use on a daily basis while doing housework, working out, running or even at work. I cannot rate this product highly enough! I purchased it after using a Belkin neoprene armband for only 3 months. The Belkin fell apart, while the tuneband has yet to even show any kind of wear at all. The silicone sleeve fits the ipod perfectly, with sufficient room at the bottom opening for the headphone jack and the dataport. The band is a sturdy elastic material which forms comfortably to the arm without excessive squeezing. What I found most beneficial about this product was the removable band, so that the consumer can benefit from the protection of the silicone sleeve without having to use the armband. Very useful on car trips, and the silicone prevents the ipod from sliding around on smooth surfaces. This product will hold your nano securely; the silicone skin both holds the nano in place, works with the Nike+ adapter, and protects it from sweat. The bulkier "full enclosures" look slick, but I noticed (and this ain't pretty) they wicked sweat to where the ipod is. A soggy nano is not a happy nano.
If I were to make one gripe, it would be that the armband is too small, but I can't take a star away because of that.
I have a 4G nano, and I've found that the best way to wear this thing is on my left inner forearm(I'm right handed), upside down. Upside down, I snake the headphones up through my sleeve to the collar of my shirt. Also, while running, I can switch songs and change volume on the fly. it works for me.
Bottom line, I'm a Nike+ runner, and it works for me in every way that matters.

Initially, I purchased the Nike+ (plus) armband. I thought it was really nice looking and would be the best I could buy. Well, it was small and when I ran, the sweat would get inside the plastic sleeve and fog up the inside of my Nano. I threw that in the trash and bought this little guy. It is really nice. Not the best looking. But it is the very best quality and it performs the best. My 12 y/o daughter can wear it and I can too. She is really thin and I'm not a huge guy. But I am 6'2" and 210lbs. and the band still has a way to go before it is out of material. I will definitely buy another before I head off to Iraq again...
Also, I actually received emails from a "live" employee of Grantwood Tech. Not an auto generated email from a large company. Help keep the small guys in business!

This is a great product. I wanted something similar to my Belkin armband that I had for my 2nd generation iPod. Unfortunately, Belkin has changed the design and I didn't like the new version. I looked for awhile to find something similar and this fits the bill perfectly. The armband is flexible and would fit most arm circumferences. The silicone fits like a glove over the iPod and protects it nicely. You can remove the armband and still have the silicone sleeve on if you want to carry the iPod around. It comes with a sheet of protective "screen saver" material. You can then cut it to fit which portion (or all of) the iPod you want to cover. There are several patterns to follow, based on how much you want. I would highly recommend this if you want to wear your iPod on your arm while exercising.
