I actually bought two dresses for my niece's wedding; this one and a black sheath dress from Kohls. I'm a little thick in the middle and hips. And the Kohls dress only served to accentuate these excess curves. But, with this dress, I got away with it because of it's flowy skirt. It's a beautiful dress and gorgeous in black with the rhinestone buckle and satin tie. My only complaint...(hence four stars, instead of five) is that the spaghetti straps were a bit looser than I wanted and didn't hold my bust where I wanted, so I ended up wearing a bra with this dress, which is a problem I'm sure most women would not have. Otherwise, the perfect dress for dressing up and going out, whether it be a wedding, a party or even a prom. I can see this being a hot little number on someone with a smoother body type other than my middle-aged lumpiness. But...still a great dress for hiding that lumpiness!!!
