Customer Review: Does what it is designed to do.

HTC phones are maddening in that they include no 3.5mm audio jack, which truly limits the usefulness of your device as a music or audio player.
This handy little device plugs into the HTC's miniUSB port and gives you a 3.5mm audio jack on the other end. Problem solved - sort of. HTC put the miniUSB on the bottom, so you either have the device upside down in your pocket or find a case that allows you to port the cord through. No great shakes, but still a bit irritating.
Still it would be nice if HTC started including a 3.5mm audio jack in future models. In the meantime, this will have to do.

I love to listen music in the subway, waiting for the doctor, relaxing on the beach. I bought this SO CHEAP adapter and i uncovered many possibilities of my new tilt phone. It is the same that having an ipod and much more.
CONS: sometimes the adapter doesn't work well in stereo headphone, you have to find the perfect deep to hear both headphones.
ALTERNATIVE: buy a bluetooth wireless headphone.

I purchased this to use on my AT&T 8525 or HTC TYTN and it worked absolutely fine. I have read in other reviews people complaining about loss of volume or noise generated in the output but I have had no problem. Great little product that gives you a standard audio plug on your HTC phone. Now I can use standard head phones and plug my phone into my stereo or home theater system.
This inexpensive adapter saves me buying a separate mp3 player.
