Apparel reviews of HTC 3.5mm Headset Stereo/Mono Adapter for ATT Tilt 8925 / TyTN II / 8525 TyTN / Spint Mogul PPC6800 / Verizon VX6800Customer Review: Headset adapter Rating: 3 Stars
The adapter is fine, however, the way the USB end is at an angle, it makes it hard to insert into my phone because the cover for the USB port on the phone is fighting for position with the adapter. I suggest it be straight in instead at a 90 degree angle. Other than that, I like it.
Customer Review: Only worked once Rating: 3 Stars
Was initially very happy with it the first time I used it. (I use it watch videos on airplanes while travelling.) The second time, I had to wiggling it around to get it work. The third time, I couldn't get it to work at all.
Customer Review: All micro usb's are not alike. Rating: 3 Stars
This adapter does not work for the IPAQ 910 by HP. It simply will not fit in the slot. It has a different shape. Be careful when you order, that the ad specificaly names your device.
Customer Review: durability Rating: 3 Stars
It attaches at an awkward angle and breaks quite easily. Ive already gone through two.
Customer Review: Good sound, terrible construction/design Rating: 2 Stars
Sound quality is excellent; but the design/construction quality is very poor. First the casing on the plug popped open and I had to superglue it (I was lucky enough to retain all the parts), then one side where the wire hits the adapter started to fray apart, then the other side frayed apart completely and the sound started cutting out. This is under normal usage in a 6 week time period. (See customer images for a picture of the broken adapter.)
I would suggest getting an adapter with a hard casing instead; that's what I'm going to try next.
