I love this product (Heys USA microScale Luggage Scale)! It's easy to use, accurate, lightweight, and small without being unmanageable. I've wanted something like this for some time and have looked and compared products online.
The size of this devise fits easily and comfortably in a two handed grip (how I usually use it as my baggage weight tends toward the 50 pound limit). But a bag can also be lifted in one hand with the scale. When the scale is done measuring a beep will sound and the digital display will turn red. The display keeps the reading until a button is pushed to clear the screen. This means the bag can be put down before reading the display without worry of losing the weight information. Because the screen is easy to read (backlit) the weight can be viewed while lifting if you choose.
I found the scale to be accurate. I weigh my luggage several times before heading to the airport and get the same number 2 out of 3 times (the other number would be only slightly off). In most cases the scale measured the same weight as the airline scales for the bag. However, I always make sure my bag is at least a few pounds under the airline limit so as to not risk overweight fees. I don't know if I'd trust any scale to exactly match the airline scales.
When packing to take with you on a trip there is a switch to keep the scale from accidently being turned on while in your luggage.
Using the Heys USA microScale Luggage Scale gives me peace of mind when checking my bags with airlines. I highly recommend this product!
