I needed a cotton hat in a light colour for my daughter to protect her delicate pail skin from the sun and found this one. Though a bit pricey, it was just what we were looking for! It covers her neck and ears and the visor is long enough to prevent the sun from being on her face. I can fold the visor up in the shade.
The only draw backs are that the material is a bit stiff; I would have liked it to be softer. Also, the chin strap is not comfortable and just plain not necessary since the hat stays on with no problem, so we just have the chin strap go behind her head.
Overall great hat and highly recommended!
