These are the best swim diapers. I first used them by chance, because where I lived I could not buy the disposable swim diapers and someone was selling these. I then bought 2 extra pairs (incase of any accidents). It does hold wee in the diaper and sometimes there is a bit of water collected in there too, so if you lift the leg to empty out the water or check for poo, do so while your child is out of the pool or in the grass. Otherwise you may be emptying watered down wee back into the pool and some people may not appreciate that. Poo stays contained in the diaper, we have never had a leak and they wash very well both by hand and in the machine. My original pair is over 4 years old so the elastic is starting to give not making them as effective in holding in any accidents. But they certainly got their money's worth of usage!
