The BellaBand is a seamless knit band you wear at your waistline, over your unbuttoned pre-maternity pants or over slightly big maternity pants and skirts. No one has to know your pants are undone or loose -- the BellaBand smoothes everything out. The BellaBand is made of soft, sumptuous European yarn that is hard to find and expensive to buy. It gives the final product, a knitted BellaBand, significant loft, thickness, and a sueded feel to the hand which is soft to the skin and gently grips the clothing it covers to hold itself in place. I bought these because my pants were just a little too tight buttoned up. I have mixed feelings about them. I am 4 months pregnant and not big enough for maternity pants. These have allowed me to wear my pants instead of buying something new. It looks like I have layered my shirts. Unfortunately, I find that it is constantly riding up in the back and I am tugging it all day. I have this problem mostly with my work slacks, which are made of a silkier material. I also found that they do not create a smooth front as the advertisements led me to believe. You need to wear a long shirt with them or else it is very apparent that you are wearing your pants unbuttoned with a tight shirt over them, as the outline is noticeable.Customer Review: Not quite what I expected, but I still like it.

By the time I was 8 weeks along with my second, my jeans were already starting to feel uncomfortable, but I was no way ready to pull out the maternity clothes yet. So I ordered the Bella Band in hopes that I could still wear my jeans for a little while longer.
The verdict? Better used for wearing bigger jeans and keeping them up than trying to keep your regular jeans unbuttoned. You could still see the button through the band, and the band is always moving up/down, just like your shirt. I love wearing it though, as it is comfy and provides a little extra warmth during the cold winter we are having, but the bottom line is that it really doesn't deliver what it promises (at least, for me).

I bought these and initially loved how it let me wear my existing clothes. I wore them to work under my suit which worked great. But they hug your belly so that the material can hide the unzipped/unbuttoned pants, and I felt too uncomfortable, and the tightness made me feel nauseous even though I was past the nauseous stage of my pregnancy. So I gave up and went to low-riding maternity pants instead to get some belly freedom. Also, they would ride up when I used them for my jeans. So I can imagine if I got a bigger size for a looser fit, they would ride up and end up showing the unzipped/unbuttoned pants.Customer Review: Great idea, but not for low waist jeans

I thought this was such a great idea, since I refused to purchased maternity jeans or any other maternity pants. However, the band always rode up on my waist and exposed the unzipped/unbutton portion. I believe it's because I only have low waist jeans, so I had to wear the band lower down. I wore the band throughout my pregnancy to determine if weight gain would help but continued to ride up. I'm sure this band works for some but not for me.Customer Review: Not great for the petite

This product is just okay. I found the smallest size to be too big for me, even now at 7 months. I was not real tiny to begin with but I am short and I think that is what makes the band so large over my stomach. I think the product was made for more average height women. Fortunately, it wasn't expensive.
