The BellaBand is a seamless knit band you wear at your waistline, over your unbuttoned pre-maternity pants or over slightly big maternity pants and skirts. No one has to know your pants are undone or loose -- the BellaBand smoothes everything out. The BellaBand is made of soft, sumptuous European yarn that is hard to find and expensive to buy. It gives the final product, a knitted BellaBand, significant loft, thickness, and a sueded feel to the hand which is soft to the skin and gently grips the clothing it covers to hold itself in place. I bought the suggested size and it feels very tight when sitting and puts more pressure on my bladder. I wear it for a bit and then take it off and I always feel so much better when it is off. So I feel like I wasted money b/c I am not wearing it anymore!Customer Review: Too Tight......still waiting for exchange

First of all, I was disappointed that they didn't have my size in the color I wanted. I wear a pre-pregnancy size 20W and was looking to order size 3 in Black. Since they didn't have the black I ordered the midnight. It took 2 weeks to get to me (officially 2 days longer than Amazon's "delivery estimate"-very disappointing). Then when I received it, it was way too tight for me. Even though size 3 shows it goes up to pre-pregnancy size 22W, I felt like I was going to throw up wearing it. I emailed the Doula Shop and requested an exchange. Their website said they usually respond within 24 hours - it took 5 days (3 business days). I was told it takes 3 days to process the return. I mailed back the band with delivery confirmation. They received it a week ago and I still haven't heard anything. I emailed them tonight with my delivery confirmation information - I hope to hear something soon!!! I really hope I receive my exchange sooner! I have been incredibly frustrated with both my pre-pregnancy jeans (using the rubber band trick now at 18 weeks) and maternity jeans than won't stay up :(Customer Review: Not what it claims

I was so excited to receive my BellaBand, as I thought it would be the perfect solution to unbuttoned pants in pregnancy. Although I was very disappointed when I went to wear it the first time. I needed the band to wear with unbuttoned jeans. However, I tried on 3 different pairs of jeans with the band, and in all of them, the button stuck out through my shirt. The package claims to make it a smooth line, but it did not for me. I even tried following the instructions to fold the band over to make it extra smooth. Still did not work. I was desperate to wear this outfit for an event, so I wore the jeans and band anyway. Everytime I sat down, it rolled down so when I stood up, I had fabric bunched all over the place and weird lines under my shirt. I had to quickly run to the restroom to fix it each time. Not ideal when you are up and down at a big event. The one positive, the fabric was comfortable. Sadly, I would not recommend this product.Customer Review: It was OK

This BellaBand was okay for wearing around the house, or when doing anything that doesn't require much movement. It stayed put and did its job. But when I wore it to work, within ten minutes I was constantly (and I do mean constantly) pulling and tugging at it. It kept riding up! I ordered one size up from what it recommended, so I know it wasn't too small. I ended up slipping into a closet at work to take it off, and I haven't worn it since. I might try it again when my bump gets bigger.
By the way, the company gets bonus points for throwing in a bag of Skittles with the order.

I bought 2 BellaBands and really don't care for them. It's a great idea but.....
The BellaBand is just another layer I have to mess with when I'm already feeling uncomfortable and awkward. I also have wider hips and a small waist and the BellaBand constantly rides up, sometimes above the pants waistband I'm trying to hide. I find myself having to wrestle it back into position every time I rise from a sitting position. I also don't care for how tight it feels around my waist, especially when I'm sitting. I'm wearing the correct size and find it very uncomfortable at times.
