I haven't owned a bathing suit in about 5 years. But upon getting a job at a summer camp, I reluctantly started my search. It's hard for me to look for bathing suits because I feel like bigger girls are getting punished for being fat by how ugly swimsuits can be. I mean come on, there has to be cute, stylish, one piece suits/tankinis right? Most of the time those suits are fugly though, but this one...this one is soooo hip and cute I just couldn't believe my eyes. I ordered it right away. And let me tell you, it is incredibly cute and does wonders for my oddly shaped body. I really could not even believe how flattering it is. The bottoms are high waisted so they do a little tummy tucking action, and the ruffles are not too big so they don't add a lot of extra width, just enough to hide problem areas. I like the top sooo much that I would definitely wear it as a top in the summer time. I feel like it runs just a tad bit small at least in the bottoms, but those are easily found at like Target or Kmart or something. the only downside, I think, is I will be pulling down the top time to time, the way it's constructed it just seems like it's going to ride up. But it has a ruffle in the perfect spot and the bottoms are high enough that I doubt that will be a problem. As a 21 year old I feel like this suit is age appropriate, stylish, and not too old-lady-ish. I love it!
