After seeing this type of strap/hook for years used by flight crews to tote their mulitple pieces of luggage, I was determined to find one. Brookstone has it. I got mine today. It will do the job, allowing me to easily and quickly reattach my laptop bag to my roller bag after de-planing, but it could be better. The quick-release snap buckle is larger than the luggage industry standard for add-on straps, so that part is useless. To use this strap you have to loop it over your luggage handle, so the handle bears the weight of whatever bag/laptop case you support on the hook. So I'm not completely satisfied with this purchase, but it will have to do.
