Customer Review: 5 yrs searching for a warm stylish coat - OVER!

I have lived in Kansas the last 5 years and for the life of me have been unable to find a warm coat in our retail stores. It's frigid when it's cold here, so I thought I'd search Amazon. I am extremely impressed with the warmth! Walking in 0-5 degree F wind, in a skirt with boots and still was warm. The nice thing is that the material is pretty thin yet somehow it keeps out the wind, it's like magic! My picky teenage daughter who hates "froofy" coats even agreed if they have a shorter style, she would wear it and my son is asking if they have a boy style (this is after I let them try it on and sent them into the freezing weather for a few minutes).
As for the other issues brought up:
Material - high quality, no defects, though I've taken the fur off the hood.
Zipper - yes, it's tricky, but no different than my other long coats. I've had long coat zippers break from the constant tugging, but this one seems more durable.
Size - I'm 5'5, have a smaller upper half (size 6/8) and larger hip/butt area (size 10). I went ahead and ordered a large because of the reviews and wish I hadn't, it's really big everywhere, especially the arms. The length hits me about mid-calf. I returned it for a medium and the process was FAST (response within 24 hours) and I had my new coat within a week! With the medium I can still layer thick sweaters and hoodies under it. I'd say go for your actual size since the cut is very flattering if it fits well.
Overall, VERY impressed. This ranks as one of my top internet buys EVER!
