Jett Gear won themselves a new customer with these shorts. All their features are well thought out. There's zippered venting in the crotch area and a removable liner inside with quality bike padding. The built in belt gives a custom fit that you can just set once the first time you wear them for a perfect fit each time you put it on afterward. I haven't noticed any shrinking yet, unless my waist is shrinking with it (can't get much smaller being 28" already). These don't come in many sizes, so I guess that's how they were able to tune in the fit and feel and design so well.
They're not perfect though, but nothing else I've worn comes close to beating it. The legs are a little on the long side--I guess I'm worried more about the shorts being damaged than my own knees. The pocket "slash" cut isn't perfect and the flap sticks out when seated due to the ruggedness of the exterior fabric.
Overall, these are likely the best shorts on the market for mountain biking if they come in your size. I'll be sure to check out Jett Gear's other products, hoping they give them the same treatment they gave these.

Front intake and rear exhaust vents cool down the internal removable chamois liner, whether youre flowing banked singletrack at 35 miles an hour or crawling up Puke Hill for an epic ridge ride.
