Although it's a good quality stocking, I find they run rather large; I ordered according to sizing chart and they're too big for me - even though my calf measurement was at the highest end of the chart!... The band that should be at the base of your toes, completely covers three of my toes... I'm not stretching that part out, either... just distributing the fabric so it lies flat against my skin.
