I just received the coat today, I ordered 1 day shipping because I need a new coat fast. It got to my house a day after it processed where ever it was at. I absolutely love this coat, it keeps me warm while I'm outside. Its not like other coats were the wind can get through. I recommend this coat to anyone that loves looking nice and that are stylish.
The only reason I rated it 4 stars was because the size of it, I ordered a medium my regular size. I didn't think it would be too big for me, but I was wrong. I needed a small but since I'm kinda young I'll probably grow into it sooner or later. So make sure you know your size before you order one. I'm 5'8 and kinda thin. Small was the right size for me not medium.

Kenneth Cole makes lovely stuff, but this coat disappointed me. Ordering a 'large' per the sizing guidelines I found it to be over-sized. Great if you want to wear thick sweaters underneath it, but not good for those wearing less bulk.
The weight of the fabric was a mid-weight, not a problem, but not as expected. It just didn't feel quite right. The cut of the coat was sloppy in my opinion. I think that had to do with the over-sized nature of it, and I know that's a current trend for a lot of men's fashion, but it wasn't what I knew to be a 'peacoat'.
Granted it's well-made and some men will love the look and feel of it. I think it speaks to the younger set, but for older and more traditional types I think it's worth searching a bit more. I found this one: Weatherproof Mens Garment Co. Peacoat in a 'large' and ordered it prior to returning the Kenneth Cole one. I find it is much more to my liking in every way, and as a bonus it costs less.
My advice is if you're buying this for a gift, be sure you know the kind of style worn most often by the recipient. If it's not one that includes over-sized items, either order a size down from what you'd regularly order or move on to another choice.
Customer Review: Size and tailoring seem to be off

I am 6'2", 220 pounds, athletic, chest size 48, 36/38 waist. This is usually in the mid to high end of the XL range. This coat was a tight fit on my shoulders (although perfect on waist and chest) and had to be returned for an XXL. Other folks have had tailoring issues as well. So there may be some inconsistency. The coat itself was very well made, a mid-weight wool, with very nice inside seams. I look forward to receiving my XXL. At $69.99 it seems like a great deal. I just wish they had Navy, or Black available, besides Charcoal.
Note: I just got the XXL and I am not impressed by the cut and fit. Most peacoats are tailored to the athletic/military physique, wide shoulders, athletic but not bulky chest, trim waist. This line of jackets is tailored to those who have shoulders, chest, waist; that are basically the same measurement. So while this coat fits my shoulders, it is huge on the chest and waist. It doesn't have that classic, military cut to it. Also, the charcoal color just doesn't have the 'snap' that the classic dark navy, or even black, has. I may keep it as a knock around coat, or return it. It is only worth the $69 I paid, but not a penny more.

I have owned this coat for about a year now and maybe wear it 3 days per week Nov-Feb. 3 of the 6 buttons have fallen off and the inside of the coat is starting to separate. Would not recommend.
