For Christmas this year my Son-In-Law said he wanted a shoe shine kit and I was happy those are easy. Or they use to be. You can't find them at department stores anymore you can get the pieces seperatley but not the wood box and that is sort of the whole idea. The only place I found them were on line and they ranged from size to types of wood to contents and cost. Amazon had the most kinds and prices but I chose the one from Kiwi because its a band I knew and trusted and it had everything a young guy learning to shine shoes needed. I say leaning because he thought you were suppose to leave the wax on the shoes he had never shined his shoes before funny huh. Its a lost art these days I told him I would teach him how to do it I could put a spit shine on the worst pair of boots for my husband when he was in the Army. I just think its a good thing to know how to do.
