This newly-designed Nylon/PVC 1680D notebook/messenger bag made of water-repellant material will protect your laptop and secure it with Velcro. The laptop compartment is padded for extra security. The adjustable shoulder strap ranges from 35"" to 59"" long and is decorated with brass rings. There is a full-sized front pocket, a main laptop pocket with a 2"" wide Velcro elastic strap that secures the laptop, a secondary full-sized inner compartment, another zippered inner pocket, a PDA/music player/cell phone holder, three pen holders, and a full-sized zippered back pocket. This is exactly what I wanted. It does not have a lot of extra room for anything other than my laptop a a thin notebook, but that was what I expected from readign the earlier reviews. It is well made and travels well.Customer Review: Very Cute

I really was excited to receive this Laptop bag in the mail. It's very cute and has lots of space to store stuff other than the laptop itself. The only thing I was suprised to see is that the inside of the bag is light brown color. I had assumed that the interior would be black like the outside of the bag. Not too big of a deal though. I ordered the Laurex bag, loved the bag layout, and liked the outside design.
Whan the bag came, before class, opened the box to use it that night and was very disappointed. The laptop fit in the sleeve but when place inside the bag there was no room left for anything else. My hand could hardly fit down into the pockets on either side and the power cord would NOT fit in the bag.For the laptop to fit it pushed out the ends of the bag, making the inside very narrow, hence nothing would fit down either side of the laptop. The bag is very well padded however that padding takes away from the useable space. My laptop was 14.5" a 15.6 screen. I would not but this bag for anything over a 14" screen.
PLEASE NOTE: the bottom of the bag is about 3.5" wide but on the top it narrows to about 2", hence you have only narrow slits down either side pocket. A book would never fit, a notebook would not fit.
Great bag is you don't want to put a laptop in it, especially if you take out the removeable laptop sleeve.
The bag needs to be at least 16.5" to 17" so that the laptop and padding leave
for the rest of the bag to function.
Hope they make the bag a little longer, over 16", so it will function. It has a great layout and very well made.

This bag is fine if you do not want to carry a laptop in it with other things. As soon as you put the laptop in there, there is no room for anything else. I am returning it.
