I first purchased this bra in a specialty bra boutique for 139.00CA. I know it's a lot for a bra, but I was too happy that I found a bra that fit great. Up until that day I wore a 36D or 36DD, after getting fitted I am now a 32 G. You have to understand that I hate shopping for bras, I never found the right one and always walk out of the store thinking that I should get a breast reduction.
This bra is the one that Oprah wears and loves. Now it is my favourite thing.
I have to agree with the other customers that it is not the prettiest bra if you are a bigger chested gal like my self, but you forget about that when you put a t-shirt or blouse on, because you really do look 10 pounds thinner around the waist and you chest is where it should be.
If you are a bigger chested gal, I would suggest before buying this bra, if you are not too sure what size you are, go and get fitted at a proper store....a specialty store. Most stores only sell bras in the A-DD cup, that is why you should go to a specialty store, the sales women know a lot more.

It used to be when I found a bra that fit and was comfortable, I'd buy more than one. I wouldn't mind spending $30-$40 on a "good" bra. But I never liked the way I sagged in them, but hey, I'm big chested and I guess that's just the way it is. A push up bra made me look ridiculous. Now this bra - called Oprah's favorite bra - is different. It lifts me up in a natural way...it looks like I've lost 15 pounds and I don't sag like an old woman. (I AM an old woman, but I don't want my sagging breasts to be broadcasting that!) I did go to the web site and measured like they said and I bought the same size cup as always, but a size larger band. That wasn't right for me, and I ended up going back to the same size band I always wore. I should not have sized up. It's tight, yes, but hey, I look better in clothes now and it's well worth it. The price is not too much to pay for this result....I'd rather have two of these than 5-6 of any other bra I've ever worn. If you're a DD like me (that would be an E in this bra) this will make you look amazing.Customer Review: I love my ugly bra!

I recently gained some weight as a side effect of medication, and suddenly had to deal with having a larger bra size (32C, yeah I know, you all WISH you had my problem) and all the discomfort that entails. One thing I've noticed in smaller-ish sizes is that they're all push-up, demi-cup or otherwise very revealing and not terribly supportive, with skimpy straps and underwire that digs in. I just want a bra I'm not totally spilling out of, ya know? I lucked upon this bra for a miraculous $10 at a discount outlet, and now I want five more, regardless of cost. No more loose straps (a HUGE problem for me and my heavily sloping shoulders), side bulge, or things poking out which I'd prefer tucked away. I even kinda like the vintage-looking style...it gives you Jane Russell-esque torpedo-boobs!
Oh, and I noticed a lot of complaints that their normal bra size did not figure (har!) into the Le Mystere bra size...not in my case! It's the same comfy 32C I always wear.

This bra is a must for those of us who have been overly blessed up top. You do need to go to Le Mystere's web site, measure yourself according to their sizing, and then order the bra. The sizing is just a little bit different. Also, at first the band of the bra will seem to fit too snugly, but that is actually the way bras are supposed to fit for better support. And, they do stretch some after wear. If you're tired of having a saggy look, the headlights showing, or the muffin top, then try this bra. It's expensive, but you'll spend a lot more in your search for a better one in the end. Quit buying those cheap bras from the local WMart. You have never been pleased with them in the past, and it wont be any different now. I have bags full of old ones to prove my point. BUT, DEFINITELY GO BY THEIR SIZING ON THEIR WEBSITE BEFORE ORDERING!Customer Review: how come it took me so long to find this bra?

WOW! I can't believe after so many years of pulling and tugging and cursing my bras, I've finally found something that I don't have to touch again once I put it on. This is not a pretty bra. I did not buy it to be pretty - I bought it to hold up my 42 c luggage! I can't say enough positive about this bra. I haven't had the problems with it that others have had - broken underwires, etc. I even put mine in a lingerie bag and wash it in the washing machine. I only bought one six months ago and bought FOUR more today. The bra I bought six months ago is as supportive today as it was the day I got it this spring. And I LOVE the way my chest looks in any shirt I've put on over this bra.
