Customer Review: Length problematic

I bought 8 short broken dark and everything's great- except for the length. I bought same size of 515 boot cut and the short length (30") is perfect for me, but the jeans I received was more like regular (32"). It could be part of the inconsistency other reviewers were talking about. This one was made in China, whereas my 515s were made in Mexico. I'll be returning the item, which is a shame because I love the color. Broken dark is a bit darker and more indigo than in the picture. The good thing is that Amazon customer service and returns are great.Customer Review: Love the length... hate the stretch.

A very attractive looking jean with a very nice fit... in the dressing room that is. After just a few hours of wearing they were completely stretched out! I've tried shrinking them, but the amount of stretch in the waist especially has rendered them unwearable without a belt. Even then there is so much extra fabric bunching up it is uncomfortable.
What I do like is the length. I'm 5'5" with very long legs. Regular length jeans are often too short and talls are way too long. These are just right.
If you do purchase these, buy 2-3 sizes down (the size runs large anyway) and don't fret if they feel ultra tight. That will soon change! Oh, a number of reveiwers have commented about these not "feeling" like authentic Levis. It's true, these are made of a thin denim. They wear more like slacks.
Customer Review: Real Levi's or Knock Off?

I wear these Levi's regularly,usually purchasing them from Dillards department store, so I know the quality and fit really well. As soon as I opened the box from Amazon and took these out, I felt they were not really a Levi's product. The fabric is very different, the red tag on the pocket was tiny and twisted, the label inside the back was totally different and made from a very thin fabric, not the usual Levi's quality. But the main thing that told me these are probably not Levi's was the quality of the hang tags. They were very pale and printed on very lightweight paper stock, not the usual bright Levi's colors and heft I'd expect of the authentic paper tags. So, I didn't even bother to put them on. Am returning them and will look somewhere else. It's rare to be disappointed with a purchase off Amazon, but this is one that everyone should watch out for if you want the real deal.
