This is my third pr. and they fit almost exactly as you would want. I was tried of those old ladies jeans and wanted a pr that slimmed and looked like they didn't.Customer Review: Not the right 512?

I have an older pair of 512's and the rise is about 10 inches. The pair I received from Amazon has a 12 inch rise. That is so high!!!! I can find 512's on other websites with the 10 inch rise, so I don't know what the deal is with these. Also the Levi's leather tag is smaller (1.25x2 inches) on this pair andis waaaayyy smaller than the one shown on this webpage. Leg opening is 10 inches. The 2 percent spandex are also very stretchy and I should have gone down a size.Customer Review: Great jeans, but they don't last.

I've purchased several pairs of these jeans. They fit well and are comfortable, but after a while the jeans begin to pucker at the sides, right at the bottom of the pockets. Very annoying! It seems to have something to do with the "slimming panel". The jeans are not even tight, so it's not like I bought too small a size. In addition, I agree with comments that different pairs fit differently - the lighter colors seem to be looser on me.Customer Review: Variable Sizing

I had the same problem with different sizing - I bought a pair of medium blue in 6L, they fit great. Then I ordered a pair in 'dark', also 6L, and they fit like a FULL SIZE SMALLER. I had even put the first ones in the dryer, and the dark blue ones are an inch smaller in the waist, and the thighs much tighter. I'm returning them, and trying the next size up...we'll see.
