I own blue and black Levi's 512's... The blue jeans are fine, but the black ones shrunk a size.
Levi's should be made in the USA!

I was so excited about the way the 512 fitted me. They slimmed my silouhette down by 10 lbs until they lost elasticity and sagged just after the first wash. Very disappointing.Customer Review: Inconsistent sizing

I have to wear black pants to work and found the 512 jean to be the best all around for fit and durability. However, after ordering more than 8 pairs from Macy's....all of them size 8 longs, the last two I received were at least 2 inches narrower in the waist and much tighter in the legs. I have not gained any weight....in fact, I have lost 5 pounds since the previous order. There is no way I can wear these jeans. I contacted Amazon/Macy's about the problem and still have not been credited or sent a return item label. Needless to say, I won't be ordering through Amazon/Macy's anymore.Customer Review: very disappointed

I purchased several pair of these some few months ago, all have gone in the trash.Horrid, bagging out, stretched out almost immediately, poor quality, not in any way flattering! I tried several sizes, and kept going down to find some that wouldn't stretch out like cheap panty hose.Found much better jeans at a local dept staqore- for half the price- no not levi's. The idea of adding spandex to levis was simply disasterous. From my experience it seems like the purpose was to make 200lb women think they can still fit into a 12-but the mirror doesn't lie.They felt and looked awful.Customer Review: Color very uneven after second wash

I loved the look and fit of these jeans when they first arrived. However, after the second wash, the top half of the jeans are several shades lighter than the bottom half. It's very noticable, and I can no longer wear them. I expect fading, but not so unevenly after just two washes. Unfortunately, Amazon says I can't return them more than a month later. Too bad - a local store would allow return of a defective item.
