Levi's 512 straight leg jeans were my all time favorites. They disappeared and returned with a little stretch.
I ordered a pair in my usual size 4 but should have heeded another reviewers comment. They run small!! I could not get them closed. I am returning them but see I cannot get an exchange. I must now order another size and pay more than what was advertised. Not happy about that. But once I get these jeans on I will be very happy. I just wish they would make jeans in all cotton. I don't like stretch in any of my jeans!

I haven't ordered these jeans yet because the description says they "fit comfotably at the waist." Are these 512's what is known as "Mommy jeans"? Otherwise, they sound great! (P.S. I don't like low rise either.)Customer Review: WAY TOO SMALL!!!

I agree with other reviews that this jean runs too small. I'm 5'6" and weigh 118 pounds - normally I wear a size 4 but with these jeans I have to go with a size 10!!! And even then they can be too snug! There is also variation from one 512 jean to the next. One time at Macy's, I tried on different colors/washes of the same 512 Levis jean and the sizes varied tremendously. One pair might be falling off me and the next pair I could barely zip up. I think Levi's needs to get a handle on what sizes women really are at different weights. There are a nice looking jean but some of the pairs I bought can make me feel like they're way too tight and after a long day at work, I feel like I'm in a sausage casing. It's also upsetting that women are expected to have to pay for the cost to return the item and shipping to get a new one because of a sizing mis-estimation on the part of the company.Customer Review: Not snug enough

I liked the way these jeans fit on my waist and hips - more like the old Levis of the 70's. However, only 2 stars because the thighs were not slender enough and I had to return the jeans. Slim down the thighs, add a bit of length and THEN we'd have the perfect fitting jean!
