My ds is big for his age (97th percentile). He is solid...not overweight. These briefs are great because they are very short vertically. When I buy underwear that fits his waste, it comes up to his armpits. Not these. They fit great and he thinks they are comfy. The other poster may be right that the leg holes expand over time, but I'm okay with buying more when this happens, because the fit is perfect for him. I think these would work great for husky kids as well!
