Customer Review: My Go-To Style of Jeans

Levi's are classic, and this style and cut is no exception. These jeans continue in the tradition of what what make Levi's great: durable, simple-but-stylish, well-fitting jeans that can be dressed up or down, depending on the situation.
Style and fit is highly subjective and personal, but overall, these are stylish, but not clubby: the stitching is tasteful; flashiness is absent. These are not Jersey Shore jeans.
* Relaxed boot cut fit looks good with sneakers, boots, etc. The boot cut does not flair too much; that is, you're not wearing bell bottoms.
* The crotch does have a little extra room. So does the butt. Because these are relaxed everything is a bit bigger. I wear a 30x30 in these (I'm 5'8", 145lbs); if I wanted to cowboy it up (wear them tight), I could probably fit into a 29x30. I wear a 31x30 in 501s.
* Length is accurate.
Overall, great pair of reasonably priced jeans.

I could'nt find my 557 Levi's anymore at the department store. They told me they quit making them. Luckly I found them on Amazon.com, so I bought them at a good price. They fit me like any one at the department store and look without any damage. I wanted to buy another as soon as I got my pants in the mail but I guess I should relax since the price went up from $32.99 to $34.99. Everything else looks O.K. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are the exact same 557's I've gotten at local stores for about the same price shipped.
They fit identically and Amazon always has my size - I don't have to go to a bunch stores to find the wash/size/and style I'm looking for - not to mention the choice of 7 washes/colors. I have no reason to go pants shopping ever again.
