I brought this on a trip to Egypt and while the adapter bits worked fine (on my appliances that can handle 220V), the voltage converter was useless. On the low setting, there wasn't enough power to work my flat iron, but on the high setting, it nearly blew out the device & the hotel room (there was a large pop and power shut off completely)! I'm still looking for a good travel converter so I can travel with my 110V appliances.
ps. there's a larger piece (the converter) to the kit that's not shown in the picture...what's shown are only the adapter pieces.
