Customer Review: Nice tag, bad strap

I bought three of these; I now own two. The tag itself is pretty nice. It's comprised of a solid plastic back and a metal front. The back has a sort of tray that holds a card on which you fill out your personal information. Note that a business card will not fit in this space and, even if you cut one down, it's unlikely that you will be able to line it up so your name appears in the window. The plastic back/tray slides into the metal front and both parts are held together when you put a strap through the hole. That system all seems to work fine.
The reason I now own two of these instead of three is the terrible strap. It's sort of a round white rubber band. It looks sturdy, but when you pull on it you can tell it's not strong. I gave it a try anyway and on my very first trip the tag got yanked off somewhere in the airport luggage handling process. I've now taken the other two tags off of my luggage until I can find decent replacement straps. I can't recommend these nice tags until they do something about the poorly chosen straps.
