Customer Review: Works well but not for heavy luggage

The strap is strong but the plastic clasp is not. We had two of these on a trip to Paris, and loaded our luggage close to the maximum weight allowed by the airlines. The plastic clasp broke on both straps. The clasp is not heavy-duty REI-quality high-durability plastic, so this is really not suitable for high-weight luggage.Customer Review: Excellent luggage belt for the traveler!

This is a great product! The belt cinches tightly and holds the luggage well, thereby protecting it a bit more from the ravages of air travel. In addition, choosing a bright color makes it much easier to spot your luggage on the carousel.Customer Review: Very Sturdy

This belt arrived promptly and was used for a trip almost immediately. It is sufficiently adjustable to fit very large bags. I had previously had to fabricate a custom strap, which TSA stole. The buckle latch prong material could be improved to provide a more positive latch-up and allow more tension in the belt when applied to the luggage.
