I read the bad reviews on these immersion heaters, but decided to take a chance.
It worked great for two days in Paris, and then it went dead.
These heaters are a complete waste of money.

This product shipped promptly. It works fine, but the clip that holds the heater to the mug is plastic and broke on the first use. It should have been made of metal like most others are. You can still use the heater without the clip, but you have to keep and eye on it because you aren't supposed to get the body of the heater wet.Customer Review: Great Product

I tested it on 110 volts and it worked great. We plan on using the warmer during a trip to Europe latter this year. We want to avoid paying 5 Euros for a cup of coffee in the morning.
Shipping was fast, and it included a round pin adapter for the 220 volt system that is used in most of the world. The adapter alone sells for $5.

This unit worked well in Europe for about a week. Then it made a popping noise when in use and never worked again.
