This scale seems like it will work well for its intended purpose. The body of the scale is plastic, but it is strong enough to weigh my wife's fully packed suitcase. I also measured some precisely weighted dumbbells, and the scale was within half a pound of the specific dumbbell weight. I was surprised to find a small retractable tape measure integrated in the scale, so I can measure the liner inches to ensure that I am within airline limits there. Being a manual scale, I don;t have to woory about batteries or electronics going bad. Overall and for the price, it is a satisfactory scale.Customer Review: Good product; one disappointment though...

Lewis N. Clark Luggage Scale
This is a great idea and will prove very useful. However, be forewarned that the automatic weight marker is very clumsy and difficult to crank back to "0" after you have finished. The crank dial is hard to use. It should be easier to reset. Otherwise an excellent item for any regular airplane traveler in this day and age of limited luggage and weights.

Luggage scale works well(used once on 4 pieces multiple time), well packed,fast delivery, hope it continues to work the same way.
If you are weighing alone than be careful, if you give a jerk while lifting the luggage than it will show more weight, to weigh the luggage lift it with the scale very gently and the marker will be at the right spot

It works, It's simple.
It's a little difficult to lift a heavy bag with such a small handle.
