Apparel reviews of Lewis N. Clark Waterproof Multi Purpose pouch LargeCustomer Review: Worked WONFERFULLY!! Rating: 4 Stars
I bought this product in hopes of not needing to spend the money on a new waterproof digital camera. We were going to St Lucia and planned on snorkeling, swimming in the pool and ocean, sailing...all sorts of water activities. I was SOOOOOO happy with how it worked. I have an older style camera that isn't so slim and has the front still expand out. I was able to keep it in the larger bag and turn it off and on without problem. I was also able to switch between settings without too much trouble while it was still in the bag as well. The only issue that I did run into was that the bag could get foggy, which then made it hard to see the camera viewing screen. But I just snapped extras and deleted later the ones that didn't work. Also, the bag could get wrinkled and the camera would lose focus because of it. But overall it was a GREAT purchase. I have actually used it a few more times since then...at the water parks, camping, outdoor activities while raining. I am very glad I bought this!!
Customer Review: dry bag review Rating: 4 Stars
used the bag snorkeling several times in a week. was easy to hang from around my neck. light weight made it handy too. never a drop of water inside. although there was a lot of sand kicking around in the water, none got into the seals, and a rinse each use was easy, drying well though was a little tough. not bad if you have small to medium hands. the camera stayed where i placed it, and a few other goodies in there too. was a little bit of a pain turning on the camera,as the lens pops out and feels the resistance of the bag and closes back up. takes some practice. would reccommend the next size even for small digitals, but for identification, a little cash and a few items, this is a great product and was dependably bone dry. i took the time to clear my photos to the hard drive of a laptop each day, but next time will have more confidence in the seals.
Customer Review: Waterproof Pouch Rating: 4 Stars
These pouches were purchased to protect both identification and cameras while swimming, snorkeling, etc. on our Caribbean cruise. They worked great - except one of our cameras wouldn't fit as we expected. With the dimensions provided in the product description, we thought there would be no problem since our camera fit the two dimensions provided. However, the pouch wouldn't open wide enough for our Sony since it isn't one of the small ones. So we had to return one of the pouches purchased.
However, the pictures taken with our smaller camera were good through the pouch window.
Customer Review: Camera's best friend Rating: 4 Stars
My friend had a similar bag. His wasn't ziplock/press seal like this; his was a screw seal, but i think that it did it's job. I did have to get used to using the bag. You have to put a little air inside the bag so that your camera lense has room to come out. I brought this in the ocean, was tossed by waves and the bag kept my camera nice and dry. Just make sure to follow the instructions and not get anything in the seal (i.e. sand, lint) because it will break the seal.
Enjoy and capture the memories!
Customer Review: Keeps it Clean Rating: 4 Stars
This turned out to be a great pouch to take valuables out snorkeling. I was hoping for some underwater pictures, but that proved difficult mostly because of the swimming, but also I don't think the camera was able to focus that well underwater. But the above water pictures came out great, not like there was a plastic cover over the lens. And if your camera's lens pops out when it turn it on, you definitely need the Large bag. Happy swimming!
