We purchased this waterproof pouch to use on a cruise in July 2011. We looked into purchasing a waterproof digital camera, but the cost was too much. We have tested this pouch in the bathtub and in a pool and it works great. We first used a piece of paper in the pouch and it came out dry, then we used a box about the size of our camera and it came out dry too. We have no hesitation in using this for our camera.Customer Review: awesome!!!

I loved this product!! It worked pretty damn awesomely, except that I had a few underwater pictures that were distorted by the plastic at times. Overall, it worked just as it should, i got a lot of great images, and most importantly, my camera didn't get wet!! I would have liked to feel more secure about it, but maybe that's all in my head. All in all, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this!Customer Review: Does what it does

Great product. Kept my camera dry when we were in Costa Rica. Closing it and opening it is a hassle, but you gotta do what you gotta do so water doesn't get it. Some of the pics are blurry, but all you gotta do is put the camera lens close to the screen.
Pros: Works
Cons: Hassle to open, have to find your technique to make the picture clear

Went snorkeling for a couple of hours and did not leak. I would not recondmend it for an alternative to underwater photography. It may depend on the camera that you have but the buttons would be hard to push for my Cannon s800.Customer Review: An OK Inexpensive option

Pictures were good but, due to the high grade plastic for ensureing waterproofing, it made operating the camera difficult, could not use view finder due to blue border and angle, and LCD screen was diffult to see for focusing.
I think I would consider going for the splurge and getting the WP case designed for my camera next time.
For storage and proctection from water and sand it was awsome, just a bit combersome to get in and out of the three ziplock seals under the folded snap latch
