Pretty much what you'd expect- fit is good, material is lightweight but sturdy, colors are pretty true to the picture. I'm still not sure who the princess is, but my little one didn't mind. The wand was the real attraction (used it with a pink princess costume for Halloween). It's light plastic and the silver flakes off pretty easy (like when a kid bites on it!) but it was apparently just fine for hitting little brother. :)
